Ways to Support Terrawatu

Direct financial contributions to the organization are of course always welcome. Terrawatu uses only a small percentage of contributions for organizational operating costs with the majority going directly to program activities. Terrawatu views financial donations as investments into local communities as opposed to "hand-outs" and we work very hard to share this philosophy with project participants.

You can earmark your donations specifically for environmental conservation or education depending on your area of interest. Or, you can make a contribution for general support and entrust Terrawatu to use the funds to support priority issues.

Other ways to support Terrawatu's programs are:

• Supporting a school by sending supported school supplies, sports equipment or electronically linking a school near you to a Tanzanian school;
• Participating in a People-to-People Safari;
• Purchasing Maasai Herbal Tea and SOON TO BE AVAILABLE Maasai leather bags handmade by our ladies in the village of Mkonoo.
